I created this packaging design concept as my own original project for a brand whose products I buy myself for my children. As an art director, I perceive that the child consumer is more overlooked in this segment – children’s perception of aesthetics and design is not taken seriously enough. Outside of the big brands, there is often a lack of quality, visually engaging design in children’s products. At the same time, as a designer, I also read this as a reflection of a lack of demand and also a possible attitude towards children as independent consumers with their own visual world. Therefore, I created the concept for a Slovak producer of meat products, which also has products for children in its portfolio.
